Channel canalization of the river has turned its valley to a very peculiar geomorphologic system, which has no natural analogues in the similar physiographic conditions - high humidity and absence of karst processes. Though being channeled it has large influence on the processes in its basin, but those are not the former natural processes. The precedently predominant sheet wash, swamping, river erosion and accumulation gave place to suffusion and consequent land subsidence and ground water rise. Some new, specifically urban processes (underground corrosion of pipes, traffic vibration etc.) appeared. The geomorphologic shame of the river basin was compiled and the most dangerous processes intensity was evaluated.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Since the beginning of Moscow city large transformations have taken place within the Neglinnaya river valley.
