Из трех макроциклов, составляющих геоморфологический этап, наиболее ранний макроцикл отмечен формированием базальной поверхности выравнивания современного рельефа (глобального пенеплена). С проявлением новейших тектонических движений связан второй макроцикл, характеризующийся формированием денудационного ярусного рельефа (геоморфологических уровней), с оледенениями и значительными колебаниями уровня Мирового океана в четвертичном периоде связан тре­тий макроцикл террасового геоморфологического развития.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The progress achieves in the study of geomorphological peculiarities of the territory of the USSR and other countries makes it possible to detail a general notion of geomorphological stage in the development of the Earth (Mesozoi-Cenozoi), which was put forward five years ago. Of the three macrocycles, composing the geomorphologicalstage. the earliest one was characterized by the formation of a basal planation surface of the global peneplain. The macrocycl (2) characterized by the formation of a denudational storey relief (geomorphological levels) was associated witn the most recent tectonic movements. The macrocycle (3) of a terrace geomorphological development was connected with the glaciation and considerable fluctuations of the level of the world ocean in the Quaternary Period.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>морфоструктура</kwd><kwd>пенеплен</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title></ref-list><fn-group><fn fn-type="conflict"><p>The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest present.</p></fn></fn-group></back></article>
