Landforms origin at the central part of Kola peninsula (according to vawe-pulsation hypothesis of morphogenesis)
Abstract
An explanation of regional landforms features of Kola peninsula by undulatory movements of upper part of Earth's crust is proposed. The model of such processes is discussed. The chain of mountains in the middle of the peninsular was formed in Eocene-Pleistocene due to polefugal waves of compression. The regions of extention corresponded to synchronous submeridional waves.
