SEDIMENTS GRANULOMETRIC DIFFERENTIATION ON THE BEACHES AND INTERTIDAL ZONES OF THE WHITE SEA: MORPHODYNAMIC CONDITIONS OF THE INTERANNUAL CHANGES

Abstract
Conditions and factors of a sediments granulometric differentiation on the beaches and intertidal zones of the test site of the White Sea beach are under consideration. Тrends and results of transformation of sediments granulometric structure have been analyzed in the view of changes in the nature and direction of morpholithodynamic processes. Vectors of lithological changes and morphodynamic processes are closely associated. It is shown that the degree of transformation of sediments granulometric structure does not depend on the extent of morphometric changes and is more noticeable in dynamically stable areas of the coastal zone, where conditions for the influx of sediments of different origin and fractional composition exist.
