Abstract
The main peculiarities of recent vertical movements of the earth’s crust and their relations with morphostructures of different orders are considered as seen in a new map of recent movements of the European part of the USSR. This map is a part of the International Map of Recent Movements of Eastern Europe (1:2 500 000). The scientific contents of the map is based on a multiple combination of geodetic, oceanographic and geological geomorphological data. Recent vertical movements are characterized by difference in direction, differentiation and general conformity to morphostructures of various orders to the block structure of the earth’s crust and its upper mantle, as well as to the peculiarities of basement structure, Late Cenozoic tectonic movements, geophysical fields and seismity. Recent movements rearrange very often the ancient structural plan, and sometimes there are reversed or displaced relations with geophysical fields and mophostructures.

Abstract
Considered is the problem of conservation of preorogenic planation surface of the Tien Shan. Stages of development of the planation surface formed in the Late Paleozoic— Early Mesozoic period have been singled out. The author comes to the conclusion that in ihe present-day relief of the Tien Shan the preservation of planation surface formed in the Late Paleozoic — Early Mesozoic time is possible.

Abstract
Considered is the relation of hydrographic elements and the connection of planetary and local fracturing with plicative structures of the sedimentary mantle. The most widely spread, angles of incidence and bending of straight river valleys speak of the presence of six systems of planetary fracturing that are common everywhere. Regional fracturing is a combination of faults of one or more systems belonging to the general planetary fault network. Local fracturing is associated with the time of laying and formation of plicative structures and morphostructures, and it is secondary in relation to the planetary one. The author establishes connections between the direction and morphology of local structures and the orientation of disjunctive morphostructures.

Abstract
Field work in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda and detailed geochemichal investigations served as a basis for studying links of different products of hypergenesis with denudation surfaces having regional occurrence in Africa. There are complexes of supergene formations of different age that are characterized by clearcut mineral and geochemical peculiarities and pertain to certain levels of relief. Data obtained verify the existing conceptions of the paleogeographical conditions of planation surfaces formation in different regions of East Africa.
